I have found that it is a key element to quality, honest, and captivating work as wedding photography - the element of trust. When a couple offers it to you as an artist, the canvas is blank you are given the chance to create in the midst of realtime moments of lasting emotional impact and gravity. All the more, that trust is a profound gift when the bride herself is an artist.

Sara and David were wed this past Saturday, amid a grand showing love, laughter, and celebration! When I first met Sara and David, they shared some of their love story and Sara offered the unique insight that she herself was an artist, working as an art teacher while also creating personal pieces that surrounded and helped to chronicle their lives as a couple. With this in mind, I was amazed at how graciously both Sara and David offered the chance to document their wedding day through the lens of my own creativity..no small thing from one artist to another.

Fast forward from that first meeting to this past Saturday, and I can tell you that the gratitude did not wear off. I witnessed a stunning day and was so thankful to take it all in and offer my own creative perspective…it was amazing! Again, thank you S&D, for your trust and for making it such a joy!
