tyler+alia | engagement | manistee, michigan

joining tyler and alia in manistee for their engagement session was such a perfect partner to the splendid weather that unfolded for us. its always best to learn a new town by means of a local..and i had that such privilege with tyler and alia.

among the locations that we shot at, we went back to the very beach that tyler proposed and were quite glad that we didn't have to contend with the wind and snow this time around!

spending the afternoon with these two was so much fun, and just another reminder why engagement sessions are such a blast for me...having the chance to just spend some time with my couples outside the schedule and business of the wedding day...all with the goal of getting some gorgeous images...and i think we did just that!

when i first met my wife...it was, in a sense, a two for one special* chelsea and jana: best of friends, thick as thieves, two peas in a pod...

i had the honor of having chels on my side as i fell in love with, pursued, courted, married, pursued, pursued, pursued my beautiful bride.

and now, jana and i have the honor of being on her side as chelsea soon will become mrs. max garter! chelsea has found a new best friend in max...an incredible man of God and now truly a good friend of mine*

so good for each other, so overjoyed, so clear eyed and head over heals in love.

being a part of their story is truly a humbling honor.  cheers for best friends in love!

i don't think we could have packed in more locations into a single engagement session, and with such class and beauty! haha...shooting tony and katie's 'she said yes' session was every bit of spontaneous, fun, whimsical, romantic, and beautiful that you could imagine.  it is so great that i have the privilege to be with these two in june! talk about party - can't wait friends! -npe
